TERMS OF USE · DRAFT FOR REVIEW

Plain-language rules for using MyPay QR.

These draft terms apply to MyPay members who create a QR payment request, pay one, or do both. They require professional review before live use.

Service provider

MyPay QR is operated by Metaform Industries Pty Ltd, ABN 91 688 650 937, of Level 4, 80 Market Street, South Melbourne VIC 3205. Contact customersupport@mypayqr.com or 1300 888 209.

MyPay QR provides payment links, QR pages and transaction records. Stripe provides hosted payment processing and connected-account services under its applicable terms. MyPay QR is not a bank and does not provide a deposit account or stored-value balance.

Before a payer confirms

The page identifies the payee by their MPQ identity together with the requested amount, service fee and total charge. The payer must check those details and only continue when they recognise the payment request and intend to pay the displayed total.

Member responsibilities

  • Provide accurate identity and contact information, plus payout information when receiving.
  • Keep sign-in links and account access secure.
  • Use the service only for lawful payments and accurately describe the payment purpose.
  • Do not attempt to identify, expose or misuse another member's private information.
  • Handle the underlying goods, services, refunds and customer obligations that apply when receiving.
  • Complete Stripe verification when required and comply with applicable Stripe terms.

Fees and payment status

The proposed subscriber price is A$14.95 per month plus 5% of each requested payment, deducted from the recipient. The payer pays the requested amount. Sandbox subscribers are not charged the monthly fee; recurring billing requires separate activation and acceptance after professional review. A displayed receipt records the status reported by Stripe; it is not proof that unrelated goods or services were supplied.

Prohibited use

Do not use MyPay QR for fraud, misleading requests, unlawful goods or services, sanctions evasion, money laundering, unauthorised payments, testing stolen payment details, or activity prohibited by Stripe. We may restrict access or preserve records where reasonably necessary for safety, investigation or legal compliance.

Problems, refunds and complaints

Use our support, refund and complaint processes. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

Availability and changes

We may pause the service for security, maintenance, legal or operational reasons. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.

Draft updated 13 September 2026.
