REFUNDS · DRAFT FOR REVIEW

Start with the payment reference and what went wrong.

This draft does not exclude or limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Requesting a refund

Email customersupport@mypayqr.com with your name, payment date and amount, MPQ or Stripe reference, reason for the request and the outcome you seek. Do not include full card details.

We may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the payment and coordinate the request with the recipient and Stripe.

We aim to acknowledge the request within 2 business days and provide a decision or progress update within 10 business days.

Goods or services

The recipient shown on the payment page is responsible for the underlying goods or services. MyPay QR can help identify the payment and communicate the request but does not decide whether those goods or services met their promises or legal guarantees.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this information removes rights available under the Australian Consumer Law. A change-of-mind refund is not automatic unless the relevant recipient offers one, but consumer-guarantee remedies may apply when goods or services do not meet required guarantees. The ACCC explains repair, replacement and refund rights.

How approved refunds are returned

An approved card-payment refund is ordinarily sent back through Stripe to the original payment method. The time it takes to appear can depend on the card issuer or bank. We will provide available confirmation or status information.

Draft updated 11 September 2026.
